Welcome to our new advisory committee members!

Is with great pleasure that CILS welcomes three new members to our advisory committee:

Dr. Carla Hudson Kam is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Language Acquisition in the Department of Linguistics at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on the role of the input on developmental language production and processing.

Dr. Steven Talmy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Language and Literacy Education at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Talmy specializes in teaching English as a second/additional language from a socio-linguistic perspective.

Dr. Rachel Weber is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology and Special Education at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Webber’s expertise in bilingual language and cognitive development in at-risk populations.
